I believe in the power of yes

But no is not a lesser victory

For yes, yes opens the doors of possibilities

Of adventure and entangled encounters

But no, no is a different kind of freedom

The freedom to belong only to your own desires

The power to let go of processed expectations

And say yes to yourself with a no.

Yes, the no says yes to you

So yes, the yes becomes a no from me

I hope that clears it up

Author Bio: Tamara Amalie is a Danish writer, designer and artist living in London. Having lived in Vienna, Copenhagen, Barcelona and London, she surrounds herself with cultures, books and express herself through multidisciplinary art forms. Being a strong believer of curiosity being the soul of creativity she likes to experiment with different styles. Tamara went onto studying fashion design at Kingston University and took further courses at CSM. Today she works for Burberry, whilst selling her art and designs. She is also in the process of finishing her first book, a collection of poetry she hopes to publish by next year.
