Passion’s Embrace; Gaze by Sabina Bell
Passion’s Embrace
Velvet-wrapped steel encircling me
Tight
Unyielding
Awakening my senses and some primal urge
The scent of spice
and want
and need
Enveloping me in its soothing warmth
Softest brush of lips on my skin
blinds me
Makes me feel
like a woman drowning
Leaves me breathless
but wanting more
Passion erupts like a wildfire
Burning
Spreading
Engulfing us both
Caressing
Tantalizing
fighting for release
No longer able to be contained
Bittersweet pain
The hard press of iron
Filling me with hunger
and raw need
At last, the floodgates are opened
And the fire once more contained
Gaze
Green pools of light
Sparkling
Haunting
Tempting
Refracting the light
Like cut emeralds
Beautiful
Hard
Cold
Flickering promises
Whispering secrets
Breaking my heart
Piece
By
Piece
Until there is nothing left
